Macoah
The Toquaht Nation’s main community is Macoah, home to about 20 people, accessible off Highway 4 along Kennedy Lake. The Nation has approximately 150 citizens in total with the rest of its citizens living in Ucluelet, Port Alberni, and other cities along the coast. The Toquaht Nation are one of the Nuu-chah-nulth Nations and people of Toquaht Bay, Mayne Bay, and western Barkley Sound. They are also one of the five Maa-nulth First Nations to have signed a treaty with the governments of Canada and British Columbia in April 2011.

Secret Beach Campground & Kayak Launch: In 2013, the Secret Beach Campground & Kayak Launch opened its doors, featuring 67 campsites, a kayak launch to access Barkley Sound and the world-famous Broken Group Islands, overnight parking, and a boat launch. Meeting & Event Facilities
The Toquaht Nation office boardroom in Ucluelet may be available as a classroom and teaching facility.
